New park “Navruz”, as a reflection of national values
Today, the capital has become a large construction site. Tashkent is changing: new residential complexes, roads and bridges, parks and squares are being built here. A number of large-scale construction activities aimed at increasing the green areas, culture and recreation parks for the population of the republic. Over the past two years, the Central eco parks "Friendship" and "Ashgabat" were built in the capital. Next in line is a new holiday area “Navruz”, built by railway workers.
This project is being implemented within the framework of the Decree of the President of our country dated August 7, 2017 “On measures to implement the project “Construction of the park “Navruz” in the city of Tashkent ”. The construction work is carried out by the specialists of the UE “O’ztemiryo’lqurilishmontaj” of the “O’zbekiston temir yo’llari”.
32 hectares of land have been allocated for the new Park. The new amphitheater with a capacity of up to 3 thousand spectators and a Ferris wheel with a diameter of 72 meters will not leave indifferent any visitor.
An interesting project will provide an opportunity to simultaneously visit all regions of our Republic, namely each region will be presented in its traditions, customs and color. Visitors will be able to taste national culinary dishes in teahouses, buy Souvenirs of folk crafts and enjoy the original culture. In short, the Park, built in the style of an ethnographic town, is designed to reflect Uzbek national values.
There is no doubt that the Park-Museum under construction in the open air, which has absorbed the Eastern and modern aesthetics will be of interest to both the local population and guests of our capital.
In the park, it is planned to celebrate such holidays as Independence Day and the holiday of the spring equinox of Navruz, as well as folk festivals, concerts for residents.
The park is being built at a fast pace and its opening is planned this year.
