On the way of development of equestrian sport
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4194 of February 18, 2019 “On measures for the further development of horse breeding and equestrian sports in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the complex for breeding and raising horses of the Karabair breed, UE “Karabair otchilik majmuasi”, from the competence of LLC “Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex” was transferred to the jurisdiction of the JSC “O’zbekistan temir yo’llari”.
As part of the implementation of this Resolution, it is planned to purchase at the expense of JSC "O’zbekistan temir yo’llari" and JSC "Kvarts" sports horses for complexes for breeding and growing horses of the Karabair breed. It is noted that in the future the horses will be donated to students of the children's and youth equestrian school in Kashkadarya region and the equestrian Department of the specialized children's and youth sports school for martial arts of the city of Fergana (created in accordance with this resolution).
In order to further develop and improve the UE “Karabair Otchil Majmuasi”, JSC “O'zbekiston temir yo’llari plan to implement a number of projects. In particular, this year is planned to bring 60 heads of thoroughbred horses from the Republics of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In addition, for growing and breeding breeds, 30 thoroughbred horses will be delivered from the Russian Federation. At present, work has begun on the organization of gyms, as well as winter and summer areas for animal care.
At the same time, Jahongir Sadikov was appointed the director of the UE “Karabair Otchil Majmuasi”, as well as the vice-president of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
