KTZE-Khorgos Gateway is the largest dry port in Central Asia, which provides a full specter of services in the processing, storage and transshipment of goods from China to Kazakhstan, the countries of the European Union, Central Asia, the Persian Gulf, the Caspian region and etc. Strategically located on the Kazakh-Chinese border, on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Dry Port is equipped with modern transshipment equipment, the latest automated wagon and container accounting system, and a terminal operating system (TOS).

The main objective of Port Khorgos is to provide customers with a fast and reliable alternative route to the existing supply chain model.

On August 17 of this year, a Memorandum on mutual understanding and cooperation was signed between “Uzbekiston Temir Yullari” JSC and “KTZE-Khorgos Gateway” LLP in the field of freight transport, providing information and consulting support to the Parties in order to increase cargo traffic using existing international multimodal transport routes.

At the same time, on October 5, 2021, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Sh. M. Mirziyoyev signed a decree on Uzbekistan`s accession to the Intergovernmental Agreement on “dry ports” (that allows to simplify the procedure for transporting goods by sea) of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

One of the main goals of the Agreement is to develop uniform principles for the use of international logistics centers and simplify the procedure for transporting goods.

The Republic of Kazakhstan (dry port “KTZE-Khorgos Gateway”), along with Russia and Iran, is also a party to this Agreement.
