A new railway station in Angren
To provide quality services to residents of the Tashkent region and its guests, the JSC “O’zbekiston temir yo’lari” implements a number of projects, one of which has been waiting for a long time in the heart of the coal industry of Uzbekistan, Angren. A new and modern railway station will soon open its doors to its passengers.
The general plan of the building was developed by specialists of the LTD “Toshtemiryo'lloyiha”. The station is located in the city center as well as it is able to simultaneously serve about 100 passengers. During the construction of the terminal, modern requirements for such facilities were taken into account. In particular, the station has a waiting room, a VIP-room, a first-aid post, a mother-and-child room, a snack bar, mobile outlets, an electronic data center and information boards. Special attention was paid to the air conditioning system. To ensure the safety of passengers in certain places, video surveillance is organized, in case of fire emergency exits are provided. The project also built a platform with a length of 250 meters. In order to save passenger time, the railway ticket office is located in the same building.
The opening of the new railway station “Angren” will take place in the coming days. Three local trains and one international train will pass through it.
