Anniversary run of a container express train

The first container express train of the JSC “O’zbekiston temir yo’llari” was organized in October 2018 with the aim of supporting domestic producers, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, and private entrepreneurship.

Since entering the first run, more precisely from October 5, 2018 up to now, the container train has established itself as a reliable, affordable and safe type of transportation and won the trust of many cargo owners, shippers and consignees.
Among the main advantages of the container express train is the low cost of transportation at fixed rates. For example, transportation of loads between Tashkent and Andijan costs entrepreneurs of our republic from 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 soums, regardless of the type of cargo and its quantity (meaning the cost of transportation of cargo in 1 container). Moreover, to create additional facilities for entrepreneurs, JSC "O’zbekistan temir yo’llari" included in the cost of delivery the processes of loading and unloading of the container on the platform.

Another important fact is also a convenient schedule of the train and a simplified method of paperwork. Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to carry out the reception and dispatch of loads on a weekly basis on the on a solid thread schedule – it is enough to apply to the appropriate station.

In addition, the attractiveness of container transportation by railway is a guarantee of timely delivery of loads regardless of all weather conditions. This is a significant advantage, given the climatic features of the mountain pass Kamchik in the winter. 

As you know, this factor leads to great inconvenience for shippers during periods of time restrictions, up to the stop of traffic on a single road and long congestion in traffic jams.
