On behalf of the entire staff of JSC "O’zbekiston temir yo’llari" and myself personally, I warmly congratulate you and your staff on November 11 - Trade Union Day. First of all, I wish you good health, peace and tranquility, as well as great success in your complex work for the great future of our country, the happiness of our people, and further development of trade union activity.
Under the direct leadership of trade unions, the system, which has almost a century-old history, has always been focused on protecting the rights and legitimate interests of workers, providing them with material and moral support. Republican Council of the Trade Union of Railwaymen and Transport Builders of Uzbekistan, which unites in its ranks more than 90 thousand trade union members, until now carries out work on socio-economic development of the industry, as set out in the Industry Agreement and the Board of JSC "O’zbekiston temir yo’llari" and meets its obligations for the payment of wages, employment and social welfare. The activity of trade union organizations was particularly evident during the coronavirus pandemic. The union committee, in cooperation with the employers, implemented these objectives shoulder to shoulder in the government decrees, regulations and laws enacted as measures to combat the disease. I wish you luck and prosperity in all your good works!
